Hi, I’m Shelly—owner and instructor at Epic Motion in Wenatchee. I moved here in April 2020 while finishing my degree in Outdoor Adventure Programming and interning with Parks & Rec. When I discovered there were no pole or aerial options for adults in town, I followed my passion and opened this studio.
With over 20 years of experience teaching and performing pole dance across the U.S., I also bring a strong background in personal training and group fitness. I currently teach TRX, aerial hoop, pole, and a variety of movement-based classes focused on strength, confidence, and self-expression. Epic Motion is more than a studio—it’s a growing, empowering community, and I’m excited to share this journey with you!
Ashley has been teaching dance fitness since 2017 after falling head over heels with the energy that comes from group fitness classes. In 2020, she completed her Turn Up Dance Fitness certification and left her Zumba days behind for something she found was even more inspirational, challenging, & fun. She returned to Wenatchee in late 2021 after spending years on the West Side with her husband and missing the sunshine. Passionate about sharing the self-love, swagger, & empowering culture that comes with the Turn Up, Ashley is thrilled to share this class with the community. When she’s not dancing, Ashley enjoys cooking, eating, writing, interior decorating, & spending time outdoors with her husband, baby boy, and two dogs.
Alecia, also known as Charlie Angel, discovered her passion for dance at a young age, finding her happy place in the world of movement. In 2011, she embarked on an exciting journey with the burlesque dance troupe "The Do-Rights" in Santa Cruz, CA, where her alter ego Charlie Angel, was born. With a blend of silliness, confidence, and sass, she embraced performing and expressing herself through dance, often adorned with something pink or sparkly and curls.
After five transformative years, Charlie made her way to Montana, where she dedicated herself to teaching empowering burlesque workshops. Her mission? To help women embrace their true selves, fostering confidence and self-expression in a supportive environment. Whether you're seeking self-discovery or simply looking to let loose, Charlie Angel, is here to guide you on your dance journey.
"I was raised in a small town in California. I went to college in Utah, where I studied Design and Dance. I was in the Swing Dance Team and the Polynesian Dance club. After graduating, I moved to Portland where I continued painting and dancing while working as a nanny. I helped my friends run several small dance clubs. I moved to Wenatchee with my husband five years ago where I've struggled to find or start any dancing, so I was so happy when Epic Motion opened up!" - Aubrey

"I was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. I never dreamed we would have a gym like this come to life in our small town! The studio came in to my life at the perfect time, shortly after the birth of my first child. I regained my confidence and strength, and my love for pole dancing quickly turned in to passion! I have been a member of the studio since the early days and have taken hundreds of classes. Acquaintances have turned in to friendships, and this place has become my home away from home and added some extra spice to my life of being a stay at home mom. When I'm not at the studio, you can find me at the lake, or in the mountains. I am SO excited to take this next step and share my love of dancing with the community!" - Sara

Emily started dancing at 3 years of age and never stopped. She spent her youth in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, and hip hop classes and eventually started teaching. She was certified by the Dance Masters of Michigan and taught multiple class types. In college Emily decided to explore ballroom dancing and found a new fun way to express herself in a community environment. The social aspect of ballroom brought a new level of variety that sparked a renewed interet in her life long sport. As an adult, Emily continues to both teach and dance. While taking the last few years off to focus on travel and career, she never stopped finding the joy in moving her body in her free time. Now settled here in Wenatchee, Emily is excited to shake off the rust and get back into teaching to inspire everyone to let go, soak in the music, and dance.
"Luis Sanchez here. I've been immersed in Latin dance since childhood; it's deeply ingrained in my being. My training emphasized not just the steps, but the emotional connection to the music. Dance has been a cornerstone of my life, featuring prominently in theater, musicals, and dance performances. I'm passionate about sharing my expertise while maintaining a commitment to continuous professional development." - Luis
